Address & Directions: Located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, Abravanel Hall is adjacent to Temple Square and the Salt Palace on South Temple Street. The hall is also blocks away from Salt Palace, Temple Square and the Delta Center. The street address of Abravanel Hall is 123 W South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah 84101. As you can find out, Abravanel Hall is easily accessible from I-15 (North or South). You should take I-15 to the 6th South downtown exit first which is a one way street. Then head west towards the West Temple Street. Make a left turn onto West Temple Street and merge onto 200 South Street. And you will find the parking at the Salt Palace. The box office is centrally located between 200 South Street and South Temple Street, one block west of the Capitol Theatre. Questions? As one of the most impressive concert halls in the country, Abravanel Hall features a 100-foot fountain, crystal chandeliers, gold leaf interior, rich-sounding environment and three-story wedge of glass and brick. A Child of Our Time: Friday, April 22 & Saturday, April 23

On the nights of April 22 and April 23, Utah Symphony will present Tippett's oratorio, A Child of Our Time. This deeply moving oratorio is inspired by the tragic stories of World War II. Aspiration for peace and sad emotion of war will be expressed through the African-American spirituals. Pre-concert lecture is available in the First Tier reception room at 7:15 pm. ABBA The Concert: Friday, April 29 & Saturday, April 30

All-Star Evening: Tuesday, May 24

Fun will get doubled on the All-Star Evening. High school instrumentalists, along with their Utah Symphony mentors, will present a high-quality live performance that night. Another highlight of the evening is Pianist Weiyi Le who will present the Franck's Symphonic Variations. All-Star Evening will last for approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. Dig out more info from:
