Abravanel Hall Tickets and Schedule Information

In downtown Salt Lake, visitors may satisfy the taste for music by attending symphony performances in beautiful Abravanel Hall. As part of the Salt Lake County Center for the Arts, Abravanel Hall is a convert hall, serving as home to the Utah Symphony. It is also an architectural landmark in the city, with close proximity to Temple Square and the Salt Palace on South Temple Street.

1) A Child of Our Time

Grab the chance to enjoy the Tippett's deeply moving oratorio at Abravanel Hall. Inspired by the tragedy of WWII, this hymn of peace conveys healing through African-American spirituals. The performance will start at 8pm on April 22 and 23, running about 2 hours. There is also a pre-concert lecture at 7:15pm in the first Tier reception room. For more info, call 801-355-2787.

The event applies to children aged 8 and older, with the ticket price ranging from $15 to $85 for different seating. The detailed price is:

- Second Tier: $30

2) Classic Countdown

Bring your family to enjoy the greatest orchestral music performance ever written with host from Fox 13 News: Big Buddha. Starting at 7pm on April 26, this performance lasts about 1 hour and 40 minutes.

People of all ages are welcome to the performance. Children aged 3 and under are admitted free, but still require a ticket. The ticket prices for the event include:

- Third Tier: $8

- Second Tier: $8

- First Tier: from $10 to $20

- Orchestra: from $8 to $12

3) ABBA The Concert

Come to enjoy the excitement of a live performance with your favorite ABBA (a Swedish pop music group). The performance features Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen and more, starting at 8pm on April 29 and 30.

Children aged 8 and older are welcome to this entertainment performance. As for tickets, different seating costs different ticket price. The specific price range includes:

- Third Tier: $35

- Second Tier: $35

- First Tier: from $45 to $85

- Orchestra: from $30 to $58

However, there is a limit of 8 tickets per person for each internet transaction. You can also purchase your ticket by phone through ArtTix. The telephone No. is 801-355-2787 / 888-451-2787.

For the sake of guests' convenience, tickets can also be bought at any of their ticket office or outlet locations. These ticket offices are all open from 10am to 6pm from Monday to Friday and from 10am to 2pm on Saturday. These ticket offices include:

Please note that all tickets sold by ArtTix are subject to service fees. These fees vary in different producing company and different purchase location. If buy your ticket online, you may be charged a service fee ranging from $3 to $15 per ticket. For tickets purchased by phone, ticket service fees range from $2 to $15.

There is also a minimal Preservation Fund Fee on paid admissions for events at these venues, with a fee of $1 at Abravanel Hall. The fee will be used for main projects to enhance the experience of the artists and guests and also to preserve the buildings for longer use.

Note: There are no exchanges or refunds on single tickets. In spite of age, all guests must have a ticket. For most performances at the hall, recommended minimum age is 8 years old and up and no babies in arms. You can see specific event description for details.
