According to Parents' Picks 2009, Red Butte Garden is the "Best Tourist Spot" in Utah. It is an ideal place to come for a picnic with friends and family. A number of bird watchers also come to this garden. Nature lovers can explore the nearby surroundings of the garden by going on a hike along its nature's trail.

Visiting Hours at Red Butte Garden

The Garden remains open all round the year. However, the visiting time varies during diffreent times of the year. For instance, the visiting hours from May 1 - August 31 is 9 am to 9 pm. From September to October, you can visit the garden between 9 am and 7:30 pm. The visiting hours are from 9 am to 5 pm from October 1 to December 23. The garden remains closed on Thanksgiving Day and from December 24 to January 1. The garden also remains closed on Sundays from January to February.

Admission Charge at Red Butte Garden

Members do not have to pay any admission fee for entering the garden. That apart, the entry fee is $6 for adults, $4 for children, senior citizens and U of U Faculty and Staff. Children below the age of three do not require any ticket.
