Sugar House park is located in the sugarhouse area in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is built on a land which had a state prison on it. Its picturesque views are enhanced by a lake in its western part. The Sugar House Park located in Salt Lake Valley, Utah was once a prison house that has been transformed into a prettiest park.

The park offers various options other than a lovely walking provided by the 1.8 miles walking track. The western side of the park has a large pond with fountains providing a scenic view.

The Sugar House Park facilitates group gatherings by offering seven grand pavilions in the park. The visitors can reserve these pavilions for hosting family or church gatherings, athletic events or other special events.

There are wonderful fields for playing Baseball and Soccer and they serve as the home fields for the neighbouring schools. A huge Basketball court, donated by the Utah Jazz attracts the basketball lovers.

During winter, the beautiful sleigh-riding hill in the park offers a thrilling sledging experience. For volleyball fans, the seven terraces of the park hold seven courts.

Kids can refresh themselves with the two play areas offered by the park. Plastic play sets are laid down in these regions which create excitement among the children.

A small amphitheatre with a seating capacity of around 220 people is constructed in the Sugar Beet Pavilion of this park. There are around 13 picnic tables laid out in the Sugar House Park.
