Salt Lake Art Center Sightseeing Guide: Exhibitions and Building Info
The Great Salt Lake City was founded in 1847 by a group of Mormon pioneers. When they left the hostility and violence that was in the Midwestern parts of the United States, little did they know that they would be founding a place where art thrives. Salt Lake City is a city of culture. There several museums here as well as venues for professional and amateur theater.
While enjoying all that nature has to offer in this city is art in itself where you can go rock climbing, camping and fishing in the many areas near Salt Lake City, there are many things to see in the quiet halls of museums like the Salt Lake Art Center.
